Optimal Guard
In 2009, using the combined knowledge of OnGuard systems and processes, Mylette Mortgages (strategic partner of OnGuard) brought Optimal Guard to market. Optimal Guard is designed for companies who already are (or will be) using the OnGuard Credit Management software to manage arrears on their mortgage portfolio. Of course, OnGuard itself provides the technical support package, but after that Mylette Mortgages can assist you regarding the process and performance management. Simply put: Optimal Guard ensures that you get more return on your arrears management.

Our target group
Optimal Guard directs itself toward companies who want to evaluate arrears on their mortgage portfolios and/or who want better management information about this, and/or who want to mitigate their increasing credit risk.

Our services are primarily directed toward users of OnGuard Credit Management Software, but of course we can also offer (some of) our services to companies who have configured their systems differently.

The Approach

Inventory phase
In this first phase, we identify the necessary ‘assets’, knowledge level, process design, employee profiles, and management information of your arrears management department. You then receive from us a gap analysis report and recommendations.

Implementation phase
From this moment, one (or more) of our experts are posted within your organization and together with the manager of the department will work on the recommendations.

Training on the job
If necessary, employees will be trained in order for them to achieve optimum returns from their specific place within the process. Experience shows that each phase of arrears requires a specific profile of your employees.

Delivery
Delivery occurs once the management information is accurate and clear, and the T0 and follow-up test measurements have been presented to management, whereby the results show a significant improvement in performance. At the same time, forecasts up to and including T12 measurements are presented and included in the department’s target plan.
